\\n\\n A study on: Filled wax systems as impregnation media for low temperature superconductive (LTS) magnets\\n

\\nYour tasks
\\n\\n
\\n\\n You will work on the development and characterization of filled wax systems which are possible candidates as impregnation media for low temperature superconductive (LTS) coils manufactured at PSI.\\n
\\n\\n
\\n\\n

- Theoretical aspects of dispersions and associated rheological properties\\n
- Hands on experience on sample preparation techniques and handling equipment\\n
- Characterization and evaluation of the developed systems\\n

\\nYour profile

- You are a student in Materials Science/Engineering or related field, and you are at least in your last semester of undergraduate study (minimum 5 semesters)\\n
- You have a basic knowledge and experience in laboratory work and materials processing techniques\\n
- You have a self-motivated mindset, and the ability to work independently\\n
- You are capable of working accurate and documenting procedures precisely\\n
- As a plus, you have experience with microcontrollers (e.g. Arduino) and soldering\\n
- You have not yet completed your Master\\xe2\\x80\\x99s thesis\\n
