To further drive our growth, we seek a technical support engineer who will contribute to our mission of being a company that scales sustainably.
As a technical support engineer you will be responsible to react to technical incidents and provide technical support to the customer-care operators, account managers and risk team.
What will be your challenge in the role
Monitor incidents reported by monitoring tools
Make a preliminary analysis to understand what the cause of the reported problem might be
Contribute in the definition and creation of quality checks
Manage technical emergencies
Be a point of escalation for other specialists (e.g. software engineer, system administrator, etc)
Provide data from which business teams (e.g. risk team, account managers) can take decisions
Prepare business reports
Document manual procedures
What you need to succeed in the role
Patience, curiosity and ability to work under stress
Good knowledge of SQL
Knowledge of GNU/Linux environment (e.g. bash scripting)
Be a good team player
Understanding of source code (e.g. Java)
Pro-activity in automating manual processes
Fluency in English
Nice to have
Experience in bug fixing and coding
Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing problems
Knowledge of German
