\\n NonStop Consulting AG is looking for a Technical Development Scientific Associate to join one of the global healthcare companies in the industry.

In this role, you will perform scientific experiments for the preparation and timely delivery of drug substance processes, procedures or data in collaboration with experienced team members. Additionally, you will contribute to the maintenance of lab instruments/infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, perform and document scientific experiments in the field of crystallisation, filtration and drying with respective analytics in collaboration with experienced team members.
• Seek proactively for support and coaching from Scientific Expert/or other team members during the whole process.
• Provide documentation of raw data, evaluation and interpretation of routine results.
• Optimize existing methods and procedures, reproduce and follow published and established methods.
• Proactively address, propose and implement solutions for basic problems in own work area and openly communicate complex problems with proposed options to address.
• Operate/ utilize special equipment in the area of lab automation, scale-up technologies, online analytics
• Actively support the transfer of procedures within the department.
• Recognize and communicates experimental issues.
• Provide input on deviations and unexpected results from experiments.
• Actively perform simple safety and literature searches under the direction of relevant and experienced team members.
• Keep a record of lab chemicals, intermediates, excipients and solvents within own area of responsibility.
• Collaborate with other team members to facilitate deliverables.
• Schedule and perform routine maintenance of instruments/equipment.
• Participate in knowledge exchange.
• Ensure all own activities are aligned with overall drug development process.
• Work according to appropriate SOPs, GMP, GLP, QM, HSE, ISEC & company guidelines.

Requirements for your profile:

• Lab Technician with experience or equivalent educational background e.g. HTL or FH in the field of Analytics, Chemistry, Physical Chemistry.
• Fluency in site-language German.
• Exact and efficient laboratory work.
• Deep understanding of HSE requirements and safe and conscious work in laboratory environment.
• Experience in modern analytical techniques
• Experience in solid state analytics or crystallisation of solids desirable.
• Experience with handling of \\xe2\\x80\\x9chighly active\\xe2\\x80\\x9d compounds as well as qualification of analytical equipment desirable.
• Motivated to work in project teams and with colleagues from other functions and disciplines.
• Knowledge in Data and Digital aspects desirable

Location: Basel, Switzerland

Contract duration: 12 months. Our client offers a contract extension or a permanent position.
