As a Technical Artist, you\\xe2\\x80\\x99ll be the bridge between the worlds of art and engineering, responsible for the technical aspects of art asset development. Join our clients team and work closely with talented artists and engineers to create immersive experiences and streamline our asset pipeline for real-time effects. This is 12 month contract with a chance to extend to 18 months. You will be employed under a normal full time permanent employment contract receiving all usual Swiss benefits and coverage but for a fixed time period.
Job Responsibilities
Work as a Houdini Maestro: Utilize Houdini to parameterize 3D assets, bringing your technical prowess to the forefront of our creative process.
Collaboration is Key \\xe2\\x80\\x93 Partner closely with our engineering and art teams to define and develop content that blurs the lines between technology and artistry.
Take the lead in designing, managing, and maintaining the pipeline that guides our artists and engineers from inception to deployment.
Elevate the quality and efficiency of our content by optimizing performance and guiding artists and designers in asset creation, modeling, and texturing best practices.
Develop a broad range of technical expertise to tackle various technical and artistic challenges.
Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment by quickly resolving issues with cross-functional leads.
**Skills:**
Mastery of Houdini is a must.
Proficiency in scripting languages to enhance your technical toolkit.
Harness your creativity and strong verbal and written communication skills to tackle complex challenges.
Work independently and manage your time effectively.
Craft tools and automation for various packages like Houdini, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, and possess general 3D knowledge (Maya or Blender, etc.).
Experience with game profiling and optimization techniques is highly valued.
**Education/ Experience:**
\\xe2\\x80\\x93 Bachelor\\xe2\\x80\\x99s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is required.
