5+ years\\\' of work experience in a utility or a commodity trading environment, and preferably with knowledge of the energy markets
Preference is for somebody that has worked as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, Developer or Application Engineer and that has management ambitions
Excellent communication skills, analytical, results focused, organized and a team playe.
Knowledge of the energy production and trading businesses, including systems and processes for scheduling and nominations, understanding of front to back system flows and trade lifecycles
Training and experience (with certifications) of any of IT service management (e.g. ITIL) project management (e.g. PMI, Prince 2), agile methodologies, cloud and database technologies, is desirable
Educated to at least degree level or an equivalent in a business, computer science or a similar technology or engineering discipline
Fluent in English; competency in French is advantageous

You will join IDS - Information and Digital Systems service unit which is a mutualized functions supporting our 2 Tradings businesses (T&S) and (TGP). This role is within Gas & Power Trading IT sub-team and will only support TGP.
In this role, you will be responsible for a delivery team of 6-10 persons and the management and development of a portfolio of systems used within the gas and power trading businesses. The systems scope includes LNG cargo management, gas and power operations, but you will be expected to work closely with other delivery teams for the integration of systems and to contribute to run and change activities across teams. To support the continued expansion of the gas and power business, and particularly TotalEnergies transition to power, there is a significant change program in progress that you will be expected to contribute to.
You will report to the Manager of Trading & Risk Management Systems, Gas & Power Trading IT.

Uncertainties specific to the trading environment (volatility of prices, supply & demand mismatches) are coupled with those coming from the broader energy sector (climate change policies, changes in the energy mix, developments of new energy sources, etc). In this context TGP helps to ensure growth and profitability to a key segment of the business in order to reach the objective of Carbon Neutrality by 2050.
Key Responsibilities / Objective:
Supervise a team of 6-10 persons, approve their time reports, absences, holidays, etc
Ensure the appropriate staffing of your team according to Trading IT guidelines, which shall include both internal and contract resources
Plan and report the activities of your team, manage your feature team backlog and prioritize activities according to IT and business inputs
Act as a third line support for issues affecting systems in your perimeter, ensure availability and aim to resolve all incidents according to the agreed service levels
Coordinate configuration and change requests, as requested by business stakeholders
Provide management level reporting of your backlog and support tickets
Contribute to projects that are managed across feature teams
Work closely and cooperate with other feature teams from within Gas & Power Trading IT and the other IT/Technology teams within Trading IT
Enforce governance and standards, including project approvals, technology standards, testing and quality assurance, and so on
Ensure compliance of development and related activities with legal, regulatory and other audit/internal requirements, e.g. Sarbannes-Oxley
