Supply Chain Portfolio Manager (f/m/d)

PURPOSE:

The main mission of the End-to-End (E2E) Category Portfolio Managers is to design and execute supply strategies to support our Bayer Consumer Health business.

He/She ensures that market needs of their respective product portfolio(s) are met while in sync with Product Supply principles and frameworks.

The role includes full ownership for innovation pipeline delivery, product cost optimization activities, hands-on program / project execution, and change control management.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Product Supply E2E Category Director Nutritional Health to holistically design and execute the Nutritional Health supply strategy.

• Lead a selected portfolio of strategic and cross-functional initiatives including network strategy, product life cycle management / change control, sustainability, and long-term planning.

• Strategic link to key Manufacturing Sites & and Bayer-internal stakeholders safeguarding capabilities to support category growth, profitability, and continuous supply.

• Provide input/guidance into business development opportunities such as in-licensing, co-development, make vs. buy activities, etc.

• Lead and/or collaborate within the Product Supply E2E team to deliver projects on time and on budget.

WHO YOU ARE:

• PhD or master\\\'s degree in science, Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or equivalent.

• Minimum of twelve (12) years relevant work experience.

• Basic understanding of legal, regulatory and GMP requirements in a Pharma, OTC drug, medical device and / or nutritional supplement environment.

• Substantial project management experience and proven project leadership

• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work in cross functional, global teams as well as ability to work independently.

• Capability to manage and communicate across all levels of the organization. YOUR APPLICATION
