Supply Chain and Operations Specialist
We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team in Zurich as a Supply Chain and Operations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of our supply chain, including shipping, kitting, supplier collaboration, and purchasing. Your expertise in materials resource planning (MRP) and experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems will be crucial in ensuring the timely availability of components and maintaining optimal stock levels. By working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will contribute to the overall success of our innovative medical imaging solutions and help us bring our vision to life.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with suppliers to maintain strong relationships, ensure the availability of necessary components, and oversee the purchasing of parts while monitoring stock levels and ensuring timely production.
Check the Bill of Materials (BOM) to determine which components need to be ordered and source them accordingly.
Manage the shipping of systems and parts, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
Plan and execute materials resource planning (MRP) to optimize the supply chain.
Manage the company\\\'s hardware stock using the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
Work with external partners to coordinate and streamline supply chain operations.
Monitor and report on supply chain performance and spend, identifying areas for improvement.
Required Qualifications:
Work experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Fluent in German and English.
Data and analytical skills, with experience in using ERP systems.
Ability to build good working relationships, influence others, and work collaboratively with different teams across the business.
Ability to monitor and report on actual Supply Chain performance and spend.
Willingness to occasionally travel as part of the role.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional Diploma in Procurement or Supply Chain Management degree (e.g. CIPS).
Experience in a high technology manufacturing or assembly business, preferably in the medical device industry.
Knowledge of negotiation skills, supplier development, contract law, and lean supply techniques.
Ability to gather and interpret information from multiple database sources, analyze data, and present conclusions.
Quality-informed supplyer decision-making skills.
