Sr Team Leader PDAS

For our Process Development Analytical Services team, we are looking for an open-minded, goal driven, motivated team leader with a background in biology or (bio)chemistry. As part of the Analytical and Process Development Department you will be responsible for the team in charge of sample testing for process characterization, process monitoring, stability and various development studies.

Main responsibilities :

\\xc2\\xb7 Ensures compliance of Process Development Analytical Services (PDAS) to EHS, HR and Quality requirements.

\\xc2\\xb7 Maintains current laboratory equipment and operates analytical and other instruments.

\\xc2\\xb7 Performs assigned scientific experiments without supervisor\\\'s assistance.

\\xc2\\xb7 Reviews scientific work in project-related fields and areas of expertise.

\\xc2\\xb7 Provides input and identifies problems with scientific experiments, analyses/tasks in related areas.

\\xc2\\xb7 Assists in developing recommendations for improving standard procedures.

\\xc2\\xb7 Ensure the availability of adequate laboratory materials and justifies the purchase of new materials and equipment.

\\xc2\\xb7 Guides the examination of standard procedures and improves on current approaches.

\\xc2\\xb7 Enhance capabilities, services and standard procedures in the designated field of expertise (Cell based, molecular and biological and chemical routine methods).

\\xc2\\xb7 Maintains accurate record keeping and experimental data with the use of statistical packages and standard databases.

\\xc2\\xb7 Ensures state of the art sample flow, sample storage and data integrity

\\xc2\\xb7 Lead non-GMP stability from an execution point of view and reports back the results in an adequate way to the stability SME.

\\xc2\\xb7 Collaborates with QC whenever needed for release or non-GMP stability.

\\xc2\\xb7 Supports the work of project members to accomplish team objectives on time and within budget.

\\xc2\\xb7 Review and release routine test results.

\\xc2\\xb7 Plans, communicates and allocate lab work and resource, respectively (In agreement with Department Head and Analytical TI).

\\xc2\\xb7 Scientific mindset and know-how.

\\xc2\\xb7 Lead RRM level 1.

\\xc2\\xb7 Represents PDAS

Qualifications

Your Profile :

\\xc2\\xb7 MSc/PhD in Biotechnology / Biology / Chemistry or equivalent

\\xc2\\xb7 Work experience in Analytics (GMP and or development) minimal 3 year

\\xc2\\xb7 People leading experience is an asset.

\\xc2\\xb7 Background in protein chemistry and bioprocess engineering of conjugated proteins is an asset.

\\xc2\\xb7 Very good level of communication. German is an asset.

\\xc2\\xb7 Team player with a communicative personality paired with a scientific mindset.
