Your role

As Risk & Performance Reporting Specialist at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are part of the Analytics & Business Solutions team which is responsible for the identification, quantification, analysis and reporting of performance and risk analytics for a wide range of asset classes in Asset Management.

You will provide insightful analysis and recommendations based on your assessments and reportings internal and external stakeholders, incl. portfolio managers and top management.

This position provides you with an unparalleled opportunity to gain a comprehensive perspective of our Asset Management strategies, products, processes, and tools. Not only will you have the chance to immerse yourself in these areas, but you will also be able to enhance your finance, risk & performance, and programming skills.

Your responsibilities

• Create and provide risk and performance presentations and reports and analyses in high quality and on time
• Maintain the analytics databases and manage related processes
• Answer routine questions and follow through on requests by portfolio managers, CRMs, management and RfP specialists

Your profile

• University degree (university / FH) in Finance or a similar field
• 3-10 years of practical experience in the field of risk and performance or data reporting

• Excellent Microsoft Office skills as well as knowledge in VBA, SQL or Python are required
• Experience with Bloomberg PORT is a strong plus; Morningstar and Avaloq is a plus
• FRM or similar an advantage
• High level of attention to detail with the ability to weight problems and set priorities
• Quick learner capable of swiftly familiarising oneself with operational processes to perform them independently and with precision

• Fluency in English; fluency in German is a plus
