Solution Architect Business Applications

SR Technics has embarked on a digital transformation journey to be ready for the future. One part of this program is to strengthen and expand the existing SAP and Application strategy, resulting to build up and strengthen the internal SAP & Application competence. Therefore we want to expand the Enterprise Architecture team with a Solution Architect Business Application. In this position you will own and manage the IT solution lifecycle in the application area of SAP & Non-SAP. You will advise on the impact of changes in the Application domain and leads the development of new technology solutions in the area of Business Application.

Your tasks

• Lead Solution design and analysis for all application related topics.
• Convert business and technical requirements into architectural blueprints and solution concepts.
• Steer engineers in the development, system design, and specification of new IT solution elements.
• Oversee the application portfolio and provides guidance to optimize the IT architecture landscape.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and how they can be used within SRT to drive targeted business outcomes.
• Work closely with the PMO function to ensure execution of plans aligned to the original solution design.
• Provide architectural deliverables (e.g. standards definition) to support the architectural governance and optimization of investment decisions.
• Define and design application standards for SAP and other business applications.

Your profile

• Bachelor\\xe2\\x80\\x99s or master\\xe2\\x80\\x99s degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis or a related qualification, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of five years of experience in at least two IT solution development disciplines, including SAP, technical or infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or cloud development
• Exposure to diverse, technologies, platforms, processing environments and continuous delivery models
• Good understanding of strategic and new and emerging technology trends practical application of various technologies to evolving business and operating models
• Understanding of product management, agile principles, development methodologies and capability of supporting agile teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact, and risks, taking into account technical and architectural debt
• Experience in developing architecture blueprints and roadmaps.
• Experience with SAP (R3/S4) and application development.
• Experience with integration Scenarios, preferably technology knowhow with SAP Integration Suite and BTP
