Position Summary
Responsible for the delivery of the manufacturing plan in respect of Safety, Quality, Delay, Inventory and Performance to achieve results identified by the Corporations WIN Strategy and Business unit Strategy Deployment goals. Responsible for the execution of the Parker Lean System, the improvement of the performance through Value Stream Tracking Centers and the daily performance through RunTheBusiness.
Roles & Responsibilities
Supports the profitable growth of the business and achieve Business Unit, Division and Corporate goals monthly, quarterly and annually
Establishes and maintains premier customer service though On Time Delivery and Zero Defect
Leads strategy deployment for the manufacturing, focused on Lean Initiatives and Sales growth. Leads Manufacturing, Industrialization & Methods, Facility and Maintenance departments to ensure operational efficiency, lead-times optimizations and inventory reduction
Accountable for executing and driving Lean Initiatives to ensure they are fully embraced and implemented
Develops a budget plan and manages operations within budget constraint
Maintains familiarity with competitive environment within geographical area of responsibility and implement best practice in production/operations through new tools/new methodology
Provides leadership by promoting team concepts, coaching, counseling, retaining, mentoring, training, talent management, and individual development. Drives a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effective performance management
Education & Experience
Ideal candidate has 8 or more years of experience in Operations Management, with at least 4 or more years of experience in a leadership role
Previous work experience ideally includes experience in business and operational processes
4 year university degree (or international equivalent) required; Ideal candidate has studied Business or Engineering
Ideal candidate is working towards or has completed a Master\\\'s degree (or international equivalent) in Business, Engineering, or related areas of study preferred
Skills & Competencies
Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and recommend proper opportunities
Must have functional understanding of cost accounting and adopt to practical application
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts
Must be an innovator and embrace lean enterprises principles and practices
