\\n As the premier supplier to our international banking client in Basel, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer - Digital Workplace.

This is an initial contract running for 12 months with option to extend on a long term basis based on the project road maps, with start date asap.

As part of this team, primary responsibilities will include the implementation, maintenance, and support of enterprise-class software and services in a hybrid cloud enterprise

Responsibilities will include:
- Implement, maintain, and enhance core Windows Client infrastructure services including but not limited to security hardening, automated deployment, patching, lifecycle management.
- Managing the user environment, with responsibility for defining, configuring and managing the client desktop experience.
- Third-level support for Windows clients including performance monitoring and resolution of client performance issues.
- Third-level support for the Banks core applications (e.g. Office, Adobe) including performance monitoring and resolution of client performance issues.
- Contribute towards adoption of new Microsoft Azure services, and help maintaining existing ones.
- Practice Agile and DevOps practices within Infrastructure and Operations.

Must-Have skills:
- At least 7 years of hands on experience in implementing client operating systems and relevant infrastructure in an enterprise environment. (****)
- Strong background with a proven record of designing and implementing Operating System Deployments (OSD) including the image build, task sequences and reporting. (****)
- Deep understanding of hardware, operating system security and hardening, with a focus on Windows security capabilities (BitLocker, SecureBoot, TPM, Defender Firewall, Application whitelisting, GPO, etc.) (****)
- Deep understanding of Windows operating systems and related technology stack including SCCM, Intune, Microsoft 365, SCCM Co-Management, Microsoft Azure, GPO. (***)
- Strong Desktop Support background with a proven record of delivering Microsoft-focused large-scale solutions using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (aka SCCM) and Intune. (***)
- Requires fluency in scripting (e.g. PowerShell). (***)

Nice-to-have skills:
- Knowledge of working with Microsoft Server Operating Systems, VMware as a hypervisor for virtual machine administration, and Citrix VDI.
- Knowledge of several core Azure cloud technologies, including M365, Azure AD, Conditional Access (Machine attestation), and other Azure services.
- Command of one other of the BIS\\\'s working languages German, French, Italian or Spanish.

Please note, interviews would be conducted via video call, however the role is based 100% in Switzerland.
