Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Systems Administrator to join our IT Department in the heart of Geneva. The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with technologies such as Windows Server, Pure Storage, Cisco UCS, VMware, Veeam, Azure, and Zabbix. This role is instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management and Monitoring: Administer, monitor, and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring their reliability, performance, and security. Use Zabbix for comprehensive monitoring and alerting.
• Storage Management: Oversee and manage our Pure Storage solutions, ensuring data integrity, performance optimization, and efficient storage utilization.
• Virtualization: Administer and maintain VMware infrastructure, focusing on best practices for performance, reliability, and security.
• Backup and Recovery: Utilize Veeam for the backup of critical data, ensuring that recovery processes are tested and efficient.
• Cloud Management: Administer and manage our Azure environments, ensuring optimal integration with on-premises infrastructure.
• Cisco Management: Oversee and manage the Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS), ensuring seamless server operations.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure all systems adhere to banking industry regulations and standards. Regularly conduct system audits to ensure compliance.
• Performance Tuning: Monitor systems to identify performance bottlenecks and apply optimization techniques.
• Incident and Problem Management: Quickly respond to and resolve any infrastructure-related issues.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure, configurations, procedures, and change management activities.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the IT team and other departments to optimize the overall IT strategy and operations.

Profile

• Bachelor\\xe2\\x80\\x99s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years\\\' experience in systems administration with a focus on the specified technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server, Pure Storage, VMware, Veeam, Azure, and Zabbix.
• Familiarity with banking regulations related to IT infrastructure would be an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work on-call and outside regular business hours, as required.
• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English and preferably French, given the location.
• Legal right to work in Switzerland.
