WealthTech made in Switzerland - Finfox is the smart software solution for hybrid investment advice, developed by ECOFIN Software and Technology AG in Zurich. Private banks, cooperative banks and Swiss cantonal banks equally trust in Finfox. With their digital investment platform, they implement their clients\\\' advisory processes flexibly across all client touchpoints and devices. Going beyond the software itself, ECOFIN acts as a strategic partner to their clients in all matters relating to the digital transformation of their wealth advisory services.

As an integral part of a newly formed team, we are looking for a Software Engineer who will embark in a transformational journey. You will be designing, implementing and maintaining new services in a brownfield environment, leveraging the latest cloud-native technologies on AWS and Kubernetes. Under the principle Keep it Simple, you will be working on fit for purpose technology, on both new and legacy code.

\\xc2\\xb7 Design, develop and maintain backend (micro-)services with a focus on software engineering

\\xc2\\xb7 Seek continuous improvement, building resilience and quality into applications

\\xc2\\xb7 Take initiative and ownership in finding solutions in your daily work

\\xc2\\xb7 Build a strong collaboration with the frontend, business and product teams

\\xc2\\xb7 Take the tech stack to the next level and further elevate our product suite functionally

Requirements

\\xc2\\xb7 Bachelor\\\'s or Master\\\'s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

\\xc2\\xb7 Strong working knowledge of Spring Boot / REST API design

\\xc2\\xb7 Excellent knowledge of Java or Kotlin, Python knowledge is a plus

\\xc2\\xb7 Excellent understanding of Git, PostgreSQL and cloud software engineering

\\xc2\\xb7 Very good understanding of cloud-native technologies and workflows

\\xc2\\xb7 Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, AWS is a plus

\\xc2\\xb7 Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Gitlab is a plus

\\xc2\\xb7 You like to build new things with qualitative, clean code and feel also comfortable with refactoring legacy code

\\xc2\\xb7 Very good self-organization skills and ability to quickly prioritize multiple tasks

\\xc2\\xb7 Strong customer focus and used to work in agile teams

\\xc2\\xb7 Fluent in English in combination with good working knowledge of German

\\xc2\\xb7 Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

\\xc2\\xb7 Ability and willingness to learn a lot

\\xc2\\xb7 Background in Financial Services is a plus
