Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a Senior Product Owner Product Innovation and Governance.

End date: 31.12.2024

Main responsibilities

• Act as Product Owner of product innovation and governance team and be responsible for end-to-end implementation of new financial products on balance sheet (structured products & derivatives cross assets) as well as off balance sheet (SPV)
• Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure that the products are delivered on time, within budget and with highest level of quality. All approvals need to be formalized in the approval tool. Make sure the products meet the business requirements and align with the overall strategy.
• Analyse customer need, market goals and market trends, identify new business opportunities. Contribute to innovation, product vision and product roadmap.
• Have a basic understanding of regulatory requirements (ESG, EMIR, MIFID, Finfrag etc) and its impact related to product issuance. Make sure the regulatory aspects (reg. reporting, MIFID documents etc.) are considered as a part of the approval process
• Manage the product & services life cycle from conception through release (incl. testing).
• Work with an Agile development team to re-fine and prioritize features and stories, create confluence pages for documentation proposes.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.

Your skills:

• Bachelor or Master university degree in Finance, Business Administration, or financial industry
• related field
• At least 5 years work experiences in financial industry with knowledge in structuring / origination / product issuance flow of cross asset structured products and derivatives / knowledge of issuing process out of SPV issuing vehicle / digital asset knowledge as a plus
• Solution oriented, ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities and dependencies
• Excellent communication skill with the ability to present complex information in a clear and structured manner
• Understanding of regulatory environment of financial industry
• Preferrable SAFe, scum of scrum or similar, CFA, CAIA, FRM
• Technically savvy with strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus
