Your role

As Senior Network Engineer at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are strengthening our network team as a professional and experienced engineer and provide continuous support to our infrastructure based on state of the art solutions/technologies and work closely with leading providers in all network and security related areas. You will work for both areas daily business and project deployments as part of our team.

Your responsibilities

• Operate the global network environment (CISCO, firewalls, proxies, DNS, DDoS, NAC)
• Ensure stable operation including solving network related issues and keeping the infrastructure up to date
• Support projects with network solution designs in coordination with other infrastructure teams
• Implement solutions as part of network related projects as technical lead and solution architect
• Document network services including network design and operations manuals
• Support the on-call organization as a member

Your profile

• University degree in Computer Science
• Passed IT network certifications (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, CCSA, CCSE, etc.)
• 5+ years of professional experience in the networking area
• First relevant work experience in design and implementation of network infrastructure is a plus
• Experience with ITIL methodologies
• Ability to weight problems and set priorities
• Fluency in English, fluency in German is a plus
