We are seeking a Senior Master Data Expert to join our team and take charge of complex global master data processes for our client in the Basel region.

Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our SAP ERP system, aligning with supply chain operations, and adhering to regulatory requirements and business objectives.

Your challenges

• Lead process streamlining and continuous improvement projects to achieve operational excellence.

• Utilize your hands-on experience in various SAP transactions, interpreting MM, PIR, SL, BOM, Recipe, Production Version, MRP, CMA, PO, SO, etc.
• Ensure consistency and completeness of master data through data quality checks and cleansing.

• Collaborate with diverse global business units to facilitate setup and maintenance of master data.

• Develop functional understanding in Supply Chain, Data Quality, and other relevant domains.

• Proactively plan and anticipate change management, ensuring meticulous implementation of team goals.

• Take ownership of assigned tasks, delivering with high data quality.
• Participate in mandatory training and actively seek ways to improve customer satisfaction and productivity.

• Maintain the integrity and quality of site master data by analyzing requirements and maintaining attributes in the systems.

• Prioritize material code releases to manufacturing sites, ensuring successful product implementation.

• Initiate continuous improvement projects to enhance operational excellence, quality, and productivity.

• Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements, and HSE standards, including record management.

Your skills

• Education: Experience in Pharma, Life Sciences, Engineering, Commerce, or Economics with a relevant degree.

• Experience: At least 5 years of working experience.

• Hands-on experience in SAP Material Master Creation & extensions.

• Proficiency in BOM, Recipe & Production Version.

• Strong knowledge of Supply Chain processes.

• Familiarity with SAP modules, especially MDGM, is advantageous.

• Excellent communication skills in English.
