For , our recently launched unique biological manufacturing and development concept in , we are looking for a Senior Laboratory Technician (m/f/d) in our team in Mammalian Cell Culture Development at the Visp site. In this role, you will work hands-on in our state-of-the art laboratories and will interact with cross-functional teams to develop cell culture processes for the manufacture of novel biotherapeutics.

Key responsibilities:

Execute and document experimental lab work in the field of mammalian cell culture

Generate and collect high quality data in collaboration with individual scientists and lab technicians

Contribute to general laboratory tasks and media preparation

Contribute to the maintenance of lab equipment and participate in the creation of working instructions for laboratory equipment

Order raw materials and consumables as per project needs

Key requirements:

Apprenticeship with 1-4 years of relevant industry experience or Bsc in Biotechnology, Biology or Chemistry

Experience in mammalian cell culture (CHO cells, aseptic techniques, subculture, cryopreservation, transfections, AMBR15/AMBR250, stirred-tank bioreactors, media preparation, \\xe2\\x80\\xa6)

Ability to work in teams and organize work

Technical English required, German is a plus

Availability to work during weekends and bank holidays a few times per year
