As a senior GL accountant and central member of the accounting team in Ballaigues, you\\\'ll have major responsibilities regarding Balance sheet management for multiple entities of our US listed company with local statutory requirements. Your main responsibilities will be to support the Accounting team for the R&D and Commercial entities in Switzerland.

Senior GL Accountant - Ballaigues, Switzerland 80% - 100%

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting /Financial Closing :

• Support the issuing financial reports and ensuring their compliance in line with the internal US GAAP requirements or external swiss GAAP requirements for all your dedicated swiss entities
• Support the accounting close with the preparation and production of month end report
• Assist in the month quarter and year end close process including analysis of specific accounts for accuracy
• Preparation of monthly balance sheet account preparation and review of the movements on P&L accounts

Audit and Compliance :

• Managing documentation and testing and maintenance of internal control processes associated with sox controls
• Oversee completion of internal and external audit review as well as statutory audit
• Adhering to policies and procedures such as Dentsply Sirona Corporate finance Manual, Sox, US GAAP

Accounting and balance sheet integrity:

• Manage intercompany loans and related bookings
• Review of shared service center reconciliation on banks, AR AP
• Reconcile ICO transactions and clear up month end queries with our shared service center
• Manage booking and clearing of month end operations on accruals and prepaids
• Liaise with shared services to ensure the most efficient process for AP (payment, approval and booking)

Requirements and Qualification:

You hold at least a Bachelor\\\'s degree in a finance related field and have obtained several years of experience in a large accounting company as a General Ledger Accountant (Accounting qualification preferred).

You are fluent in English and you speak basic German (B1), French is a plus.
You can analyze data and Excel has no secrets for you. You have equally experience in working with an ERP tool in SOX and US GAAPS / SWISS GAAP.
