Senior Finance Manager Corporate Functions

Your assignment

The role partners corporate functions in optimising resource allocation, setting budgets and targets and driving a culture of performance management. The role holder coordinates budgeting and forecasting processes, provision of insightful management information, and performs regular and ad hoc analysis and benchmarking to ensure efficient utilisation of resources. The role holder will be a trusted business partner, contributing to the realisation of the company and relevant business area strategy, by enabling, challenging, and influencing business leaders to make informed and valued decisions which create value for the business area they support.

Finance strategy and business partnering with Corporate Function Leaders and their Leadership Teams
- Advise and challenge business areas with timely and proactive analyses, assessments of variances to their budget, financial impacts, and risks.
- Drive understanding of all the costs elements across their function to provide insightful recommendations.
- Inform on a timely basis any unexpected issues impacting the financial performance of their functions
- Propose/implement recommendations for decision making, gap closure and corrective actions.
- Support on ad hoc analyses and projects.

Period end closing, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
- Monitor and review all month end closing activities such as journal entries, accruals review among others.
- Periodic review and update with budget owners on their actuals
- Prepare financial forecast updates
- Ensure timely and accurate budget submissions from the data collection until the final load and presentation.

Global Process Owner of the CAPEX Process and Electronic Approval Workflow System (Fedora)
- Contribute to and support the SAP CAPEX implementation
- Drive and address timely resolution of process issues and questions related to Fedora
-Continuous improvement of the Fedora tool through process improvement steps

Your profile

Your profile:

• University master\\\'s degree in finance or Economics
• 10- years\\\' experience in Finance and sound experience in multinational environments
• Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles and processes
• Solid experience in working with outsourced finance models
• An analytical mindset and be an initiative-taker, being able to see opportunities and solve problems independently
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Work independently with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders
• Ability to set long-term financial targets and sponsor performance improvement projects
• Fluent in Professional level English. French proficiency is a nice to have.
