\\n Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Your mission:

To reinforce the Synechron Switzerland team, we are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer. Our mission is for one of our clients, a leading global wealth manager in Zurich.

Working closely with the Artificial Intelligence, Data & Analytics Team, closely interacting with the business professionals, data scientist and technology teams across Group Functions.

You will be joining a team that are helping to scale, build and leverage Artificial Intelligence, Data & Analytics in the business.

Your responsibilities:

• Participating in the transformational initiative across various business functions such as Risk, Finance and Compliance;
• Building the next generation platform using the latest Cloud-based technology;
• Contributing to the end-2-end software development lifecycle;
• Providing engineering excellency across all the products and processes;
• Challenging the status quo and building great software;
• Learning, building engineering communities, becoming the ambassadors of innovation.

Qualifications

Your profile and skills:

• Ideally, you hold a degree in statistics;
• You have at least 5 years of experience in major financial institutions, within Infrastructure and Security Engineering, for at least 5 years;
• You have a background in leading the architecture development of Azure to enable infrastructure for enterprise data platform;
• You have experience with AWS and Azure;
• You are familiar with Python;
• You have worked with Kubernetes and Ansible;
• You are experienced in maintaining CI/CD pipelines;
• You are experienced in Logging and Monitoring (Grafana / Azure Monitor / AWS CloudWatch);
• You posses general knowledge of Bash Scripting & Powershell;
• You have good understanding of containers (Kubernetes, Docker) and how to automate its build-process and its lifecycle;
• You are familiar with JavaScript;
• You have good understanding of Bicep & ARM Templates as well as CloudFormation Templates;
• You are experienced with Kafka products;
• You posses knowledge of Terraform and Azure DevOps;
• You are motivated, confident and capable of both working independently and collaboratively;
• You speak English and German;
• You have a valid Swiss work permit or you are EU national and willing to relocate to Zurich.
