They will be a key member of the growing Commercial Effectiveness team in EMEA and in performing their daily responsibilities will be required to partner with a broad range of internal collaborators across the business, from sub-regional sales, marketing and management teams to Regional colleagues in Finance, Marketing, IT and HR as well as aligning and collaborating with Global colleagues and teams.In this position, the Sales Operations Lead, EMEA, will be required to take a leading, yet hands-on role in designing, planning and seeing through the implementation of all SFE initiatives that will support the planned growth of the Insmed Salesforce in EMEA. Strong collaboration and a mindset of transparent partnership will be most crucial to success in this role, as well as a consistent track record of delivery in a similar role within the Pharmaceutical and/or Biotech industry.The Sales Operations Lead will report to the Head of Commercial Effectiveness, EMEA.Main responsibilities (not limited to):
Act as the main point of contact and \\\'business owner\\\' within EMEA of the existing CRM system (Veeva);
Own the design and planning of any CRM improvements or initiatives in EMEA;
Partner closely with sub-regional sales teams to ensure CRM initiatives and functionality reflect salesforce and wider business requirements;
Collaborate with IT on the implementation of any CRM initiatives and upgrades in EMEA;
Work with other Commercial Effectiveness colleagues to ensure Veeva can be used for its Field Insight sharing and gathering capabilities according to business need;
Design and deliver appropriate training to new and existing field-based users of Veeva CRM, ensuring Sales colleagues can quickly and effectively begin to use the full functionality of Veeva CRM;
Lead the EMEA sales teams through sales cycles (currently x2 per year) providing support in goal setting and regular reporting of progress vs target;
Act as consultant to the wider EMEA business on ideas for further initiatives and improvements, synergies and consistencies that can be brought to increase the overall efficiency of sales in EMEA;
Lead sub-regional sales teams through all commercial customer targeting and segmentation initiatives including third-party vendor management and overseeing, in partnership with IT, internal integration into Veeva CRM;
Support the entire EMEA sales organization through the implementation and maintenance of the Incentive & Compensation Plan;
Requirements for the role
At least 10 years\\xe2\\x80\\x99 experience in the European Pharmaceutical or Biotech industries in a commercial function;
At least 5 years experience managing projects relating to CRM, Incentives & Compensation, Sales Analytics or any other SFE areas of activity;
Recent, up-to-date knowledge of Veeva CRM;
Confirmed skills in leading heterogenous, cross-functional teams across complex international environments to successful and consistent outcomes;
Proven track record of implementing initiatives successfully, according to wider strategic goals;
Knowledge and experience of relevant compliance themes and challenges and ability to demonstrate experience in implementing compliant solutions;
Budget management competencies;
Should be comfortable with being a Subject Matter Expert within the EMEA organization;
Should be comfortable with hands-on, implementational activities;
Team player with the ability to successfully collaborate and partner in a dynamic and culturally diverse workplace.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to work in a growing, fast-changing environment.
Proficient in English.
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy and conciseness.
