Job Description
Co-own the Sales and Operations Planning process and rhythm with Operations. Responsible to provide, maintain, and adjust an accurate near and long term forecast to Operations.
Responsibilities include:
Lead efforts in working with Operations to agree on Inventory Plan and advertised lead times to meet market demand
Strategically allocate production capacity quotas per customer and product type including regions
Act as the single point of tactical re-prioritization of the order book. Responsible to optimize customer and business needs with minimum disruption and inneficiency
Responsible for defining and communicating impact of re-prioritization on other customers/regions
Ensure Product Managers and Operations collaborate on NPI production plan to ensure successful launches
Keep Operations alerted with potential Risks to Forecast and potential Opportunities to invest/pivot in capability
Coach and support Sales team to manage customer\\\'s expectations with Forecast accuracy data and business acumen
Provide and maintain reports on Forecast Accuracy and Sales / Customer dashboards overall and for key accounts
Champion Sustainability and Product Safety and technical Regulatory Compliance
Collaborate with Sales & Supply Chain to identify and support management of risks and opportunities in the orders and revenues pipeline
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
5+ years Production Planning and/or Product Line Leadership including S&OP
B.S. degree in Business Administration or related field
Experience in Adhesive & Sealants highly preferred
Customer Focus
Outstanding communication and conflict resolution skills
Ability to influence and drive projects to completion in a matrix business structure
P&L Business acumen
Ability to prioritize in a rapidly changing environment
Creative, collaborative, and prepared to take calculated risks
Digital champion, highly analytical and data-savvy
Knowledge of SAP and QlikView
Ability to travel up to 30%
Complete fluency in English is a must. Knowledge of other languages would be a plus
