Locarno, part of Schindler Group Company, is a leading developer and manufacturer of electronic components for elevators.R&D Control System ArchitectMobility is the goalJoin our R&D Smart Controls department and play a key role in shaping the future of elevator control systems.As R&D Telecom Control Systems Architect you will act as technical architect of the controller platform to define and maintain the requirements and solution while driving continuous progress through technical development of new components and technologies.Your new challenges include:Analyzing system requirements and deriving component-level solutions with a focus on hardware by ensuring compliance with industry standards and relevant codes and maintaining product structure.Defining, documenting, and maintaining the hardware architecture of elevator control systems, including master schematics.Aligning with cross-functional teams (Architects, System and Software Engineers) on HW-SW functionality and collaborating with production, field support, installation, and maintenance experts to ensure high-quality, fit-for-purpose systems.Developing and integrating interfaces for subsystems, components, and controller platforms.Defining requirements for PCBAs, assemblies, harnesses, and sub-components.Leading quality assurance efforts through designing FMEA, root cause analysis, and cross-functional reviews.Supporting test and field analysis, documenting corrective actions, and driving continuous improvements.Identifying technology trends and initiating feasibility studies with project management.Mobility needs youYou are a proactive and reliable leader with strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
