As the Development Center Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating and developing SMO\\xe2\\x80\\x99s position as Development Center within the European manufacturing platform of Medtronic. You will work closely with the nine manufacturing sites of this platform, gathering their needs and identifying their challenges. You will supervise the industrialization of new manufacturing processes, through the development of equipment, tooling, digital solutions, and technologies. You will be the reference point for horizontal deployment of these solutions throughout the platform.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
1. Strategy Development:
Collaborate with senior leadership to define the Development Center strategy, objectives, and deployment methodology.
Define the scope, organizational capabilities, and funding needs for this Development Center.
2. Business Development:
Identify business opportunities for process improvement and industrialization in all manufacturing sites of the European manufacturing platform, through deep knowledge of Medtronic products and processes.
Define methodology and operating mechanism to gather needs and ensure horizontal deployment through the manufacturing platform.
Prioritize the portfolio through business case calculation, using the Medtronic financial tools.
3. Program Leadership:
Lead and manage the Development Center program, including project prioritization, resource allocation, and portfolio execution tracking.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement by fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation within cross-functional teams.
4. Program Execution:
Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective communication, task delegation, and timely execution.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to ensure successful project outcomes.
5. Stakeholder Engagement and Business Partnering:
Collaborate with key stakeholders across manufacturing sites to ensure alignment of the Development Center with overall business objectives.
Build strong relationships and facilitate effective communication to ensure a shared understanding of goals and progress. Drive consensus through excellent influencing skills.
Qualifications
Master\\\'s degree
Engineering background
5+ years of experience in business development, portfolio management
Main Requirements
Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing process improvement initiatives.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and draw actionable insights.
Excellent ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present at all levels of the organizations.
Change management expertise, with the ability to drive cultural change.
Ability to travel on a regular (monthly) basis.
Strong resilience
Finance acumen and business case mindset.
