What will you do
The regional Manager Warehousing & Ground Transportation is responsible for:

\\n

• \\n
• leading the development and execution of category practices for Warehousing & Ground Transportation (FTL, LTL, courier and parcel), driving regional sourcing strategy definition, sourcing project execution and stakeholder alignment.\\n

\\n

• \\n
• driving the execution of the regional sourcing projects. He/she is the focal point of interaction between the regional logistics procurement team, the deliver operations team and supply chain teams.\\n

\\n

\\n

Key Responsibilities:

\\n

• \\n
• Aligns with stakeholders:\\n

\\n

o leads strategy development as well as execution of sourcing projects.

\\n

o actively engages with stakeholders in alignment with the Regional Senior Manager for both strategic and tactical procurement execution.

\\n

o drive strong cooperation with internal stakeholders, ensuring that stakeholders\\xe2\\x80\\x99 input is considered in the procurement process.

\\n

o ensures the stage gate documentation is completed.

\\n

• \\n
• Drive Sourcing Process:\\n

\\n

o responsible for ensuring analysis and definition of the category spend baseline and category profile, incl. risk assessment and SRM strategy.

\\n

o leads development of Go-To-Market and negotiation strategies in alignment Deliver Operations and ensures proper documentation.

\\n

o drive the supplier screening and supplier selection process.

\\n

\\xc2\\xa7 develop the RFx package.

\\n

\\xc2\\xa7 validates supplier selection with Deliver operations.

\\n

\\xc2\\xa7 drive communication with suppliers.

\\n

\\xc2\\xa7 conduct fact-based negotiation.

\\n

\\xc2\\xa7 supports preparation of implementation plan with Deliver operations

\\n

• \\n
• Performs sourcing management:\\n

\\n

\\xc2\\xa7 drives supplier performance by, for example, discussing lessons learned from one region and making sure that the supplier builds on those lessons learned to improve service levels in another region.

\\n

\\xc2\\xa7 participates in internal and external analysis (industry & supplier) in collaboration with the buyers.

\\n

\\xc2\\xa7 involves the business for actions related to supplier base optimization, KPI implementation and follow up, etc.

\\n

\\xc2\\xa7 conducts spend map analysis to monitor spend and ensure that all purchases follow the purchasing process.

\\n

\\xc2\\xa7 continuously tracks forecasted vs. actual savings according to the Value Tracking Process for category in scope - defines corrective/optimization actions if needed.

\\n\\n

\\n Qualifications\\n \\n

• \\n
• 
  The candidate must have a University Degree in a Major Discipline (ie. Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Economics)\\n

\\n

• \\n
• The candidate must be fluent, both written and speaking, in English\\n

\\n

• \\n
• Experience: 5-7 years\\xe2\\x80\\x99 professional experience in Warehousing and Distribution or other related positions, preferably knowledge of category at hand and working in an international environment and complex organisations; good experience with supplier selection, negotiation and contracting area is necessary.\\n

\\n

• \\n
• Experience in contact negotiations and contract management.\\n

\\n

Strong leadership, business acumen and analytics capabilities.
