Our client is an international direct private equity investor. The firm has been making investments for over 40 years and built a presence internationally (France, Benelux, Switzerland and Germany), which they\\\'re now willing to extend to Italy.
The team focuses on qualified minority investments in mature SMEs, with equity tickets ranging from \\xe2\\x82\\xac5-30 millions. Investing across a wide range of sectors (including, but not limited to industrials, consumer, healthcare, services), the appointed individual will join the Swiss team in Zurich. The focus will be on establishing the client\\\'s presence in Italy and Ticino, but also support the business in the French and German speaking parts of Switzerland, with a view to drive origination, execution and investment management efforts independently.

- Market facing role as originator and deal-sourcer for Italy and Southern Switzerland, in both intermediated, and direct bi-lateral situations
- Front line responsibility to lead investment analysis, diligence and negotiations of transactions
- Preparation of internal investment/divestment processes and documentation, ensure cooperation with all stakeholders (C-suite, co-investors, and advisors)
- Management of transaction processes until closing, and active support of portfolio companies during the holding period until exit (board membership)
- You will be Zurich based with frequent travel to Italy and Ticino, and work closely with the Zurich-based investment team
- Long standing experience in private equity, management consulting, investment banking or financial advisory
- Solid and proven network in Italy and possibly Ticino
- Italian mother tongue, proficiency in English, French and German would be a plus
- Down to earth personality able to easily bond with SMEs and entrepreneurs
- Entrepreneurial attitude, ability to execute independently and autonomously
- Excellent communication skills, ability to deliver precise messages and convincing arguments
