Tasks & Responsibilities:
Physical and chemical characterization of new chemical entities (synthetic molecules and peptides) by using analytical tools like DSC, TGA, polarization microscope, DVS
Performing UPLC analytics incl. method development
Determination of solubility and stability according to established best practices
Formulation development and supplies for peroral and parenteral preclinical studies
Documentation in eLN
Self-reliant lab and work organisation, direct exchange and interaction with internal team members and cross-departmental customers in Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology and DMPK/Tox
Must Haves:
Apprenticeship or Bachelor or Master in Pharmaceutics or Analytics
Min. 3 years of experience in Preformulation, Analytics and/or Formulation Development as associate or (junior) scientist
Good understanding of pharmaceutically relevant excipients and various dosage forms like solutions, suspensions, emulsions, polymer stabilized amorphous systems
Background in chromatography (UPLC), formulation development, sound scientific lab practices, clean, tidy and accurate work
Advanced English skills
Google platforms, Microsoft Office skills
Team player, advanced communication skills not only with peers, but also with internal and external stakeholders, well organized, self-reliant, flexible, passionate, positive attitude
