As a Portfolio Manager Assistant, you will contribute to managing key UHNW bespoke multi-asset-class discretionary mandates of Pictet Wealth Management by supporting the team head and portfolio managers.
Your role
Supporting the team head and portfolio managers in daily portfolio management tasks: cash flow management; currency and forex overlay; block trades (stocks, bonds, funds, futures, alternatives, derivatives, structured products); as well as rollover of futures for the whole team.
Providing support in calendar management.
Carrying out general administrative duties.
Monitoring and controlling adherence to client risk profiles, their specific restrictions and tax aspects.
Producing investment proposals and investment management reports for the team head and senior portfolio managers.
Supervising the monthly investment controlling for the team.
Liaising with the investment platform at our Geneva head office.
Overseeing special projects/investigation.
Being an active team member and showing teamwork and entrepreneurship.
Your profile
Degree in Finance or equivalent qualification.
Excellent knowledge of the financial markets and the various asset classes.
Able to work independently and diligently.
Reliable and resilient, with a strong sense of responsibility and an ability to multi-task.
Proficient in standard IT applications (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as Bloomberg and Reuters.
Fluent in German and English; knowledge of French would be an asset.
