Your responsibilities
The candidate is expected to conduct a doctoral thesis on a topic related to the economics of public services. Improving public service delivery is one of the biggest challenges worldwide. To understand the problem of effective public service delivery, we need to cover several issues going from organizational, contractual and regulatory choices to policy evaluation, public procurement and award mechanisms, as well as to the consideration of the historical and cultural context, in developed and developing countries, to better understand the (contemporaneous) demand and supply sides of public services. In addition, the candidate will contribute to the teaching and research activities of the unit.
Your qualifications
- Master\\\'s degree in economics (or equivalent if Bachelor in economics) - Excellent skills in quantitative methods (econometrics) - Languages: English (French and/or German would be an advantage)
