Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Payroll Manager and collaborating with other European HR colleagues, various 3rd party payroll providers and the Accounting Department, manage and assume responsibility for the timely and accurate completion of all employee compensation for client\\xe2\\x80\\x99s European & New Markets locations
Be responsible for inputting, organizing, updating and changing information in client\\xe2\\x80\\x99s systems in addition to complying with legal requirements for taxes, audits, and other payroll related reporting
Timely input of all required data to ensure accurate, complete, and timely payroll processing
Update and organize systems to manage payroll information
Maintain payroll records and files
Assist with the preparation and organization of financial statements for filing and review
Set-up new employee information and accounts
Assist with onboarding of new employees on payroll information
First line contact to answer all payroll related questions
Keep accounts accurate during employee changes and rollovers
Keep detailed records for taxes and audits, incl. assistance if an audit arises, and assist in the creation of monthly reports
Ensure strict compliance with client\\xe2\\x80\\x99s internal company policies
Requirements:
Bachelor\\xe2\\x80\\x99s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or similar
At least 5 years\\xe2\\x80\\x98 experience in a multinational payroll environment
Excellent spoken/written English skills (at least level C1); knowledge of other major European languages would be an asset
IT savvy: Advanced IT user skills, incl. knowledge of MS Office (Excel), TMF Horizon, Abacus, Power BI, Concur and/or Workday; quick learner
Strong interpersonal skills, can do attitude and problem-solving skills
Able to multi-task, be structured, and meet compressed timelines
Ability to work in a diverse, dynamic and fast-changing, complex environment
Strong collaborative spirit is essential
Accustomed to deliver high quality results and strives for constant improvement
Responsibilities include exposure to confidential and sensitive information necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment
Eligible for Swiss work permit and residence in greater Basel area, including France and Germany
