New Business Development 80 \\xe2\\x80\\x93 100% - Senior

Your main duties:

• \\n
• Think outside the box and go for the extra mile to identify business opportunities\\n
• Identify and evaluate leads for business and project funding\\n
• Identify potential partners, understand their needs, and develop relationships with these partners\\n
• Contract upcoming and steadily growing production volumes\\n
• Assess the risks and opportunities associated with new business ventures\\n
• Analyze the market and the value chain upstream and downstream\\n
• Manage some strategic product communications\\n
• Evaluate the competitive landscape\\n
• Evaluate platforms to connect the commercial and financial dots\\n

Requirement and skills:

• \\n
• Academic degree in economics with technical understanding, economic chemistry, chemistry with business development or similar\\n
• At least 10 years of well-rounded industrial work experience, ideally in the chemical industry / biobased chemicals\\n
• Ability to dig deeper into leads appearing on the radar\\n
• Experience with and good understanding in pre-contracting and contracting upcoming product volumes\\n
• Self-motivated and self-driven team player\\n
• Able to contribute critically and proactively with commercial inputs to projects within the organization\\n
• Project management experience\\n
• Ability to work and deliver systematically, within deadlines without supervision on assigned tasks\\n
• Ability to interact with industrial partners and their R&D, engineering, new business development, and venture capital teams\\n
• Ability in a link function to gather, provide and manage customer, market, industry and competitive information in an interdisciplinary environment.\\n
