Support our Global VP R&D and our Director Global Engineering & Applications including their teams as Business Partner in all finance related topics
Establish analytics for project investment decisions and prioritization
Conduct global R&D project reviews for capacity & costs in cooperation with the responsible project manager including NPV & ROI estimates and variance analysis
Analyze new regulations to identify funding and subsidy opportunities
Improve month-end-closing reporting, forecasting and budgeting process to better bridge between the functional and financial views, identify risks and opportunities and drive detailed follow-ups on action plans and variances together with the functional owners
Drive automation and better visualization of reports
Responsibility for analysis and alignment with auditors regarding the financial closing period
Support for special projects
You bring these skills, experience & education
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on R&D Controller with strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset, who is able to both support and challenge the R&D function
University degree in the field of Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or comparable
Proven ability to understand complex projects and to drive a solution-oriented approach
At least five years of professional experience in Finance and Controlling, ideally with experience in R&D and IFRS Accounting
IT affinity with very good knowledge of MS Office / SAP ERP. COGNOS and PMO365 is a plus
Business Fluent in English, German is an asset
Independent and analytical working style as well as outstanding communication and team skills
High level of self-motivation, excellent self-organization and implementation skills
Ideally experience in a matrix-driven multinational organization
