You will provide legal support for Pictet Asset Management\\\'s (Pictet AM) business activities, contributing in particular to structuring investment funds established under Swiss law, representing foreign funds in Switzerland and negotiating distribution contracts.
Your role
Structuring and representing investment funds:
- Working with the other teams involved at Pictet AM to draft and amend prospectuses and other regulatory documents relating to investment funds governed by Swiss law;
- Overseeing files relating to the approval procedure for funds and their amendments, in particular applications to FINMA and regulatory communications to investors;
- Monitoring regulatory developments in Swiss investment fund law;
- Completing the regulatory procedures linked to representing Pictet AM\\\'s foreign funds in Switzerland.
- Working with the other teams involved at Pictet AM and with external counterparties to negotiate and draft investment fund distribution contracts;
- Monitoring legislative and regulatory developments in the various distribution countries and disseminating information internally.
- Full law degree; or qualification deemed equivalent;
- Two to three years\\\' experience focused on the legal aspects of asset management would be an asset;
- Skilled user of the most commonly used computer applications (Microsoft Office);
- Fluent in French and English. Good knowledge of another language, particularly German, would be a plus.
