Takeda Switzerland is currently hiring an experienced Learning & Development and Transformation Manager (all genders), to join our Strategy and Innovation team in Zurich.
ROLE OBJECTIVE
Working with the Strategy and Innovation team and putting our patient at the heart of everything you do, you will play a significant role in transforming Takeda Switzerland into the most trusted, science-driven, digital, biopharmaceutical company with a passion for learning and growth. Your work will ensure Takeda Switzerland has the competencies required to differentiate itself in a highly competitive environment, while adding clear and tangible value to patients and providers.
You will act as a consultant to the various Takeda Businesses and Functions, and will be responsible for initiation, development, deployment, and tracking of learning & development programs and be the change manager for transformational projects that are aligned to the organization\\xe2\\x80\\x99s strategies and goals. Your contributions will help build a culture where we strive for and foster a growth mindset by consistently promoting learning, development, and continuous improvement.
KEY PRIORITY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Learning Culture
Competency Development: Use your knowledge of Adult Learning Principles to design and deploy training and coaching programs that elevate the competencies of Takeda Switzerland employees across the organization, aligned to our strategic initiatives.
Culture: Actively promote and create a culture of development, fostering a growth mindset and promoting continuous improvement for all Takeda employees.
Strategic Support: Consult with our business and functional leaders (commercial, medical, market access etc.) to ensure learning and development initiatives are aligned with the strategic priorities of our internal stakeholders.
Ways of Working:
Agile and Design Thinking: Use agile methodologies and design thinking to design and deploy training and workshops with teams and enhance collaboration and innovation throughout the organization.
Workshop Design and Facilitation: Provide workshop design and facilitation as a service to the internal stakeholders to help solve a business challenge or to drive an effective and efficient collaboration
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Synergy: Develop deep insights about the cross-functional links in the organization and introduce team development opportunities to promote best practice sharing and synergies that create well-orchestrated, high performing teams.
Transformation:
Change Management: Lead change management processes and communication to Takeda Switzerland transformational and strategic projects.
Data, Digital, and Technology (DD&T): As a catalyst of digital transformation, develop DD&T mindset and capabilities in Takeda through awareness, education, and change management of transformational projects. Collaborating with global and regional departments to keep informed and updated on best practices, resources, and events.
Innovation Capacity: Design and facilitate talent development and learning programs utilizing leading-edge technologies and methodologies that increase effectiveness and maximize resources. Cultivate new processes within the organization that drive growth and build a competitive edge.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to the specific accountabilities listed above, the Learning and Development and Transformation Manager will also be responsible for the following:
Partner with stakeholders across the organization to design L&D interventions aligned to Takeda Switzerland\\xe2\\x80\\x99s ambition.
Drive all change management activities for transformational programs
Develop bi-monthly learning sessions by hosting or partnering internally to bring on relevant topics to all Takeda Switzerland employees
Work with external agencies to deliver L&D interventions on time and within Budget.
Represent Switzerland in regional and global communities related to L&D and change management
Build strong relations with the counterpart from other countries to share best practices
Actively search out industry-leading trends and company best practices into Takeda Switzerland
Delivery and facilitation of specific learning and development
Design and facilitate workshops for specific teams and bi-annual company cycle meetings
Develop and partner with all levels of the organization to build a DD&T mindset and capabilities
Partner with Human Resources to drive excellence in employee development.
Ensure training material is compliant, approved (Medical, Legal, Regulatory), approved and up to date.
Onboard new employees and provide required / relevant training.
Partner with people managers on to support them with the development of their people.
Other duties as required by the L&D / Strategy and Innovation organizations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
University degree in a health science, business, psychology, human resources, or related field of study.
Minimum 5 years experience in a Learning and Development role or similar field with a proven track record of creation and execution of development programs
Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry is desired
Prior people management responsibility a plus
Proven experience in designing and leading workshop and training with different levels of organization and stakeholders
Proven experience in leading large-scale change, transformation, and building organization culture
Strong ability to influence without authority
Build partnership with stakeholders \\xe2\\x80\\x93 earn your seat at the table \\xe2\\x80\\x93 in a matrix organization
Navigating projects in ambiguity and overcome with clarity and plan of action
