\\n We\\\'re very excited to be announcing the vacancy for the newly created role of Senior Storage Developer. This role will be part of a dynamic and international team focused on development and construction of renewable, flexible power generation and storage solutions. Our ambition is to play an active role in the energy transition, aligned with Alpiq\\\'s strategy, by increasing the installed capacity of flexible and environmentally friendly power generation in Europe. Storage is a key element for our strategy to be successful and so we are looking for an enthusiastic, inspiring, and capable expert in this field to join our team.

This role reports to the Head Development & Projects in Alpiq\\\'s International division and can be based in Switzerland (Olten or Lausanne) or at any of our offices in Berlin, Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki, Madrid, Paris or Milano.

Main responsibilities

• Developing battery and thermal storage solutions that can be integrated with the existing renewables asset portfolio as well as with new opportunities
• Developing the business and operating models and business cases together with the local business development teams and the central trading and finance functions
• Leading and taking ownership of the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of integrated storage solutions, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and on-quality delivery of the projects whilst always respecting Safety First principles
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding technological, regulatory, and business developments for storage solutions and continuously updating the solution portfolio to fit market needs
• Defining and following up the scope of works of third party consultants, and validating their work

Your profile

• Master in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5-10 years of working experience in battery or thermal storage business development, relevant experience in engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities
• High proactivity and drive, independent way of working
• Excellent project management skills, ability to adapt to changes, find solutions and conclude complex projects in a timely manner
• Great influencing and stakeholder management skills, ability to work cross-functionally and within multicultural, geographically distributed teams
• Fluent English required, any other languages a plus
