We are seeking a highly motivated Key Account Manager to develop and support long-term customer relationships, drive sales, and contribute to the growth of our speciality portfolio.
Role Overview: As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for sales in your area, focusing on building partnerships with oncologists, rheumatologists, gastroenterologists, neurologists, and hospital pharmacists. Active representation at national and international congresses, creation and implementation of strategic account plans, and monitoring market development are integral parts of this role.
Responsibilities:
Develop and support long-term customer relationships.
Drive sales of speciality products, including new launches and biosimilars/generics.
Build and maintain partnerships with healthcare professionals in various specialities.
Represent the company at national and international congresses.
Create and implement strategic and operational account plans to increase sales and market share.
Track market development in collaboration with other Account Managers and the Head of BU Speciality.
Communicate relevant information to the target group.
Plan and forecast the sales budget for the managed products.
Requirements:
Several years of experience as a Key Account Manager in medical practices and hospitals, specialising in speciality care and biosimilars.
Proven success and a strong network of contacts in hospitals and medical practices throughout Switzerland.
Scientific or paramedical training with additional training in sales/marketing.
Strong sales, entrepreneurial, and ambitious personality passionate about sales.
Certified pharmaceutical consultant SHQA is a plus.
Entrepreneurial thinking, future-oriented behaviour, and negotiating skills.
Native speaker of German or French with excellent knowledge of the other language; knowledge of English is a plus.
