For our client, a world-leading life sciences company located in the South of Switzerland, Swisslinx is looking for an experienced IT System Coordinator as the main point of contact for coordinating the different applications between Business Owners and the IT Organization. This opportunity is open on a contract basis initially until the end of March 2024 with a possible extension thereafter.

Your responsibilities:

- Assessment of the current system landscape, status and documentation to understand the technological background together with the business processes
- Supporting business and IT with remediation of non-compliant systems/applications
- Interpreting and responding to detailed business requirements specifications to ensure alignment between customer expectations and current or future ICT capability
- Reviewing the environment together with business stakeholders (IT Site Lead, Business System Owners & IT Infrastructure / CoE Operations) to maintain a heatmap of the current status/shape/optimization potential
- Remediation of non-compliant systems together with the IT infrastructure team
- Accountability for delivery of project work according to the overall standards and concepts
- Technology scouting and run proof of concepts / proposing new solutions, liaising with vendors and defining global IT infrastructure standards in storage, backup and laboratory software while actively participating in global IT Infrastructure Architecture
- Ensuring that systems are implemented and documented in compliance with standards
- Ensuring documentation and compliance of corresponding IT-Infrastructure is done accurately
- Leading local non-GMP systems stream as part of OT isolation project

Your background:

- 5 - 10 years practical experience in IT System Engineering with a total of 5 years work experience in IT
- 4 years\\\' experience in Application Management
- Knowledge in system architecture design and system security
- Knowledge in Network/Database/Application Deployment/ IT Security / Client-Server
- General understanding of GxP
- Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Preferred IT System Engineering or equivalent
- Fluency in English AND German
