\\n On behalf of our client, an international financial institution in Switzerland, Swisslinx is looking for a talented IT Hardware Support. You will help with the preparation of the rollout working with an existing project team. This will include preparing devices/coordinating meetings with users, hands-on activities (such as installing equipment), inventory updates.

The initial contract for the role would be 6 months with an excellent chance of extension. The ideal start date for the role is ASAP, but our client is flexible to wait for longer notice period.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- CMDB related tasks and management of IT hardware inventory data in preparation for the assignment and distribution of new client hardware.
- Perform extended scans and checks of IT hardware assets in preparation for the delivery of new hardware incl. disposal of obsolete items.
- IT Request Management tasks.
- Assist with other coordination and administrative project activities on request.

Your profile:
- Between two to three years of experience with PC support/administration of IT hardware inventory or customer service in an IT hardware store. (****)
- Familiarity with IT terminology related to hardware / PC installation. (****)
- Experience with Windows client build - installation of Windows software on new PC (staging). (****)
- Experience of performing IT asset inventory and stock management tasks. (****)

- Strong communications skills to enable delivery of clear communication to different audiences.
- Able to carry out assigned tasks in a professional, efficient, and timely manner with a sense of ownership and follow through.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, drive and enthusiasm.
- Solid customer service skills with a proactive customer and service orientation.

Nice to have:
- Experience with Windows upgrade.
- Experience of ServiceNow or other tools used to maintain an IT asset inventory and IT requests.
