\\n Reporting to the Lead Data Analysis, the IT Business Analyst \\xe2\\x80\\x93 Data applications plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and data-driven solutions. The job holder is responsible for providing functional insight in contribution to the delivery of data related IT projects in particular in the context of the Covid-19 Response Mechanism\\n
As such, and under the supervision of the Lead Data Analyst, the IT Business Analyst \\xe2\\x80\\x93 Data applications provides project specifications to the IT delivery teams with the objective of ensuring that data is eventually made available to the relevant business functions in a way that maximizes its usability.\\n
In this capacity the incumbent will contribute to the creation and enrichment of the organization\\xe2\\x80\\x99s data repositories, as well as the design and maintenance of its content in a manner consistent with the relevant compliance and quality goals.\\n
The data repositories include the corporate data warehouse, data marts, datahub, data lake and any other data repository supporting data reporting, analysis, sharing or data extraction.\\n
The job holder will typically be in charge of delivering specifications for projects of medium complexity based on business inputs.\\n
The person in this role will combine a deep understanding of business data and business processes and how they are implemented, plus a sound expertise in one or more functional domains/areas.\\n \\n\\n\\n\\n

• Elicit and document business requirements from stakeholders through interviews, surveys, and workshops;\\n
• Assist in creating business cases and cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making for projects and initiatives;\\n
• Create process flow diagrams, workflow charts, and use-case diagrams to visualize and understand current and future business processes;\\n
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that requirements are clearly understood and met.\\n
• Work closely with the Data Delivery team to produce the specifications and support the design of the assigned data repositories, and with the Data Governance team to define compliance rules for Data Quality and to support the corporate data catalog.\\n
• Act as contact point for knowledge within IT for medium complex business domain Data Models and ensure consistency and coherence of these data models between the different IT systems and projects.\\n
• You can be solicited by other IT project teams to provide guidance and review their data models under the supervision of the Lead Data Analysis. Provide input to the IT projects related to the assigned areas.\\n
• Produces and formalizes the business requirements and functional specifications for low to medium size data projects. Drives the related functional solution design discussions with the delivery teams.\\n
• Plan and oversee UAT efforts to ensure that the final solution meets business requirements and is user-friendly.\\n
• Supports the Testing & QA team for the definition of the test strategy, the tests scenarios and to get the business sign-off of the test scenarios and UAT exit criteria; contribute to the actual test implementation and the analysis of complex data issues.\\n
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, requirements, and project progress\\n
• Provide level 3 support on medium complexity data quality issues.\\n
• Liaise with the relevant business representatives to ensure common understanding and management of the Global Fund data and meta-data. Contribute to the adoption of the data repositories across the Global Fund through change management actions coordinated with the Data Delivery Team.\\n
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.\\n
• Undertake other projects or assignments as assigned by the Lead Data Analysis or Data Services Manager.\\n

• University Degree in information systems management, software engineering or a related field or an equivalent and relevant work experience.\\n
