Scope of Responsibilities
The role of a Product Development and Implementation Laboratory Scientists focuses on the technical support of the European and Global Oral Care business. It involves the work on new product launches and also comprises ongoing category support for existing products.
Core Responsibilities
Support efficient execution of assigned projects, meeting the agreed timelines and specified product characteristics
Performing a wide range of technical tasks and experiments in support of research, development, quality control, or diagnostics.
Collaborate with researchers and scientists to design and execute experiments.
Manage the planning and execution of lab- and pilot batches, applying the required manufacturing and documentation levels, e.g. Good Manufacturing Practice.
Manage and execute stability programs (storage, sample pulling, evaluation). Monitor the data for completeness and conformance.
Understand and apply internal and external standards and guidelines to ensure compliance with all requirements
Compile and organize experimental data and results and support in their interpretation
Prepare reports, summaries, and documentation for review by senior researchers
Document accurately all work (i.e batch records, experiments) in the implemented electronic systems. Follow respective SOPs.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
Manage maintenance of technical equipment with allocated responsibility
Use specialized techniques and equipment relevant to the laboratory\\\'s field.
Maintain lab inventory of laboratory supplies like raw and pack materials. Assist in procurement and management of supplies.
Work with relevant softwares and digital tools
Work under the guidance of project managers to support the scale-up of processes.
Qualifications
Degree in Science or Chemical Laboratory Technician diploma
1+ years of experience in formula development for cosmetic or pharma products
Good written and verbal communication skills in English (German would be a plus)
Curiosity in other\\\'s work, willingness to develop new skills
Chemical and analytical fundamental understanding
Attention to detail and accuracy in recording and analyzing data
Skills to be able to interpret and communicate findings and updates to team members as required
Computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Google Suite and similar softwares
Good organizational and time-management skills.
