We are looking for an Inventory Accounting Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate inventory valuation and optimizing inventory controls. Your expertise in consolidating and analysing data will contribute to informed decision-making and drive efficiency throughout the organization.

We are looking for an Inventory Accounting Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate inventory valuation and optimizing inventory controls. Your expertise in consolidating and analysing data will contribute to informed decision-making and drive efficiency throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Consolidate and reconcile data from various third-party manufacturers to ensure accurate inventory valuation and reporting.
- Reconcile physical inventory counts with system records and investigate discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams, including procurement, finance, IT and 3rd party suppliers, to gather relevant data and troubleshoot issues.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to manipulate, analyse and present large volumes of data effectively.
- Involved in month-end close accounting activities, such as accounting of inventory and cost of sales adjustments, inventory reserves and other valuation differences, post-close account reconciliations, etc.
- Develop analysis and reporting on inventory-related metrics, trends, and variances.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\\\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in the Finance or Accounting function in a multinational environment, ideally in the manufacturing industry.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must. Proficiency in PowerBI and Sharepoint are a big plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to consolidate, verify, and interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data analysis.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders both on-site and remote
- On-site in Zug office 4 days a week
