The Treasury Operations department in Basel runs the Roche InHouse bank and ensures appropriate liquidity of the Group and its affiliates. It is responsible for managing the short term liquidity of the Group and the banking services of its affiliates include payment and collection processes.
In this position, you will be
Supporting InHouse Bank Operations with various daily tasks
Create intercompany foreign exchange (fx) hedge transactions, loans and transfers (in SAP and bank portals), including employee share plan
Control payment proposals for the Finance entities of the Group
Support the centralized month-end and year-end closing process (e.g. cash pool interest calculation)
Provide accounting support: electronic bank statement & balance control as well as clearing account review
Support Cash Management projects within Group Treasury
Who you are
You are either currently enrolled at university (ideally in a Master\\xe2\\x80\\x99s or PhD program) or you recently graduated with a Master\\xe2\\x80\\x99s degree in Finance or Business.
If you are still enrolled in a Bachelor\\xe2\\x80\\x99s or a Master\\xe2\\x80\\x99s program, please provide a certificate of enrollment, as well as a certificate of your university stating that an internship of 12 months is mandatory.
Please indicate clearly at what date you graduated from university in your motivation letter or CV, if you have done so already.
Good team player and self-motivator
Flexibility to take over special assignments besides the daily work task within Treasury
Strong written and verbal command in English
IT savviness / interested in digitalization
Excellent Google Suite knowledge
Experience in Treasury is a plus
The internship takes place in Basel with hybrid working in place.
