Internship In Procurement (limited To 6 Months, 100%, All Genders)

Job Description

\\nTasks

The intern will be responsible for various overarching and regional procurement projects, including process improvement, IT system implementation, and training initiatives. You will collaborate closely with leadership and members of the regional procurement team, as well as within the LHG.
  • Assist with developing, managing and optimizing procurement IT systems, as well as conducting trainings for the procurement community
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvement initiatives and relevant systems
  • Support the category management teams of SWISS and LHG in their ongoing development and daily operations (Regional Procurement Switzerland, Passenger Experience Procurement, Logistics Procurement)
  • Participate in or take a leading role in strategic procurement projects within the assigned categories at the SWISS/LHG level
  • Learn Supply Chain best practices and/or tools (e.g., source-to-contract, procure-to-pay process)

Requirements
  • Student in a Bachelor\\\'s / Master\\\'s program or HF Diploma in the field of business administration or (industrial) engineering, preferably with a focus on supply chain management, logistics, or IT
  • Ability to learn new systems and to work consciously, independently, and as a team player
  • Fluent in English and German with strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced user knowledge of MS-Office Products
  • Structured and analytical person with high conceptual skills and the ability to think logically
  • Willingness to travel within DACH region
