Job Description

Become an important part of SMG and join our Board Affairs team from January 2024 onwards as our new Intern Executive Leadership Office. The internship is planned for a duration of 6 to 12 months and allows for flexibility to work in parallel with your current studies.

Board Affairs is a support function that supports the senior management in the preparation of meetings on the top decision-making level as well as in various exciting projects. In this position you will gain insights in different areas of expertise through a broad range of tasks and close collaboration with different departments across SMG. Further, the position will give you direct insights into the decision-making process at Executive level as well as immediate proximity to the key decision-makers of the company. Hence, this is an excellent area to kick-start your career.

These are your tasks:

• Support in the preparation, planning and coordination of Board of Directors meetings, shareholder meetings and meetings of the SMG Top Management.
• Responsible for coordinating the preparation of regular reportings and for the preparation of monthly Leadership Team Meetings.
• Support in the creation of presentations and other materials in close collaboration with different departments across SMG
• Implementation of various ad hoc tasks for the attention of the upper management as well as support & collaboration in various exciting projects

Qualifications

This is what you bring to the table:

• Bachelor\\\'s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related fields
• First relevant work experience (e.g., internships) in the field of Consulting, Business Development, Finance, Project Management, or related fields is a plus.
• Independent, structured, solution-oriented, and precise way of working with a high attention to detail.
• Discretion when handling confidential information
• High willingness to learn, optimistic charisma with a can-do mentality and entrepreneurial mindset
• An excellent command of English and German

• Flexibility to work regularly on-site in our office locations in Zurich or Flamatt (near Bern)
• Enthusiasm for digital business models
• Interest in working in a dynamic, international, and digital environment
