Investment Operations is recruiting for an Analyst/Associate level candidate to join their Core Operations group based in Geneva.

Investment Operations are uniquely positioned at the heart of what we do. We impact the business we undertake from end to end, are involved in all steps of the transaction lifecycle as well as new initiatives (products and services) and vendor management. We work in collaboration with counterparts from all areas across Lines of Business, Technology, Finance and Corporate Functions.

As an International Private Bank Core Operations Analyst/Associate you will support multiple areas of the business, including Asset Servicing, Asset Transfers, Client Reporting, Data Management, Billing, as well as Cash Services.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the team activities to ensure they are carried out in an efficient, controlled, and timely manner.
• Escalate production-related issues, ensuring continuity of service while simultaneously managing effective resolution with key stakeholders.
• Deliver appropriate solutions that address the needs of clients/stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison between the business, technology, control partners and operations.
• Identify ways to improve processes/procedures to enhance quality and/or productivity.
• Participate and contribute to the various strategic initiatives to evolve our business architecture.
• Exercise sound judgment; act with integrity; protect our company, clients, and customers.

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

• Relevant experience working in Operations is essential.
• Experience of supervising the daily operational activities for a team is essential.
• Highly motivated self-starter with a proactive approach.
• Experience of driving change to improve team processes to delivery efficiency and/or reduce risk.
• Ability to operate in a flexible and dynamic environment.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities

• Ability to quickly understand complex issues and react effectively.
• Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise.
• Strong data analysis skills with advanced knowledge of MS Excel desirable.
• People management experience desirable.
