PTS is looking to hire an Intern DevOps/DataOps Engineer. You will be part of the PTS Data Office team. The primary responsibility of the Data Office team is to develop and provide data products for various teams within PTS, such as Finance, Risk & Compliance, Middle Office teams, and different trading desks. The team is considered as a technology team directly in the Business Line and has its own data infrastructure for its data management, data workflows and analytics processes.
Your role
Improving the team data infrastructure with new tools to effectively track and monitor its data architecture, data workflows and analytics processes.
Implementing and adhering to best practices in DevOps and DataOps methodologies.
Your role will involve providing support to the team in enhancing its data infrastructure through the utilization of open-source data tools and implementing best practices in DevOps and DataOps. A crucial aspect of your responsibilities will be collaborating closely with our DataOps Engineer.
Your profile
Currently enrolled in a Master\\\'s degree programme in Data Science/Communication Systems/Computer Science.
Entry-level knowledge of SQL coding and understanding of database functioning.
Basic understanding of DevOps practices such as version control, automated testing, and continuous integration and delivery.
Proficient in working within a Linux environment and in handling Docker images.
Knowledge of Python.
Keen interest in the trading business and in financial markets.
Excellent command of French and English, both written and spoken.
The successful candidate will be required to reside in Switzerland or be willing to relocate.
