Tasks

Opportunity to take on an expert role for and Swiss GAAP accounting policy and interpretation with considerable exposure to Senior Management / Opportunity to analyse and advise on capital and balance sheet implications / Analyzing and understanding of balance sheets of other industries / Intense interaction with Senior Management / Key role in observing the current developments in IFRS Accounting regulation / Responsibility for gathering, review and integration of accounting assessments in the global Accounting Policy / Responsibility for an assurance function / Global lead of IFRS new policy implementations / Participate in projects relating to IFRS and Swiss GAAP accounting standard setting / Contribute to the relationship management with local regulators, financial auditors, external advisors and rating agencies / Opportunity to practice your presentation skills / Represent Accounting Policy and Assurance in cross-functional working groups.

Requirements

Ph.D. or Master in Accounting or Finance / CPA, ACCA preferred / Relevant work experience from a Bank, Insurance or a Big4 company and strong accounting background / Solid understanding of IFRS and Swiss GAAP / Experience as an accounting specialist within the financial services industry and understanding of the structure of balance sheets of other industries / Strong analytical skills / Ability to analyze balance sheets of multinational enterprises and broad experience of interpretation / Ability to quickly structure, understand and solve complex issues / Project management experience / Experience in working in an international multi-cultural environment / Excellent influencing and presentation skills paired with the ability of getting things done / Able to work under pressure and with tight deadlines / Proven ability to work independently and to apply judgment in resolving issues / Experience in working in an international multi-cultural environment / Fluency in German and English - French as a plus.
