\\nJob Purpose The role will be a maternity cover (January 2024 - August 2024) and is part of the HR Shared Service team at our Headquarters in Basel. It will focus approx. 50% on Interdepartmental supervision and coordination of apprentices in all professions and approx. 30% on different administrational tasks, transactional HR-processes and service delivery to our employees, managers and other internal/external stakeholders. The role interfaces with other HR functions and can/may include project support.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Manages all tasks related to the employee\\xe2\\x80\\x99s lifecycle (from entry to exit)
Interdepartmental supervision and coordination of apprentices in all professions (e.g. recruitment, marketing, events) as well as close cooperation with vocational and practical trainers
Acts as first point of contact for all HR-Services and Training related queries and supports the HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition Team in general administrative tasks
Provides highly responsive HR advice and service delivery related to labor law, international HR management (Visa/ Work Permit and Relocation) and current HR policies and practices
Owns administration of employee lifecycle events (e.g. Marriage, Birth, Years of Service) as well as any type of organizational and employment contract changes
Close collaboration with our Payroll & Time management colleagues as well as the Corporate HR-Team and regional teams, as needed
Generation of reference letters
Handling of electronic personnel filing
Data Maintenance of certain master data in our core HR System (today: Success Factors Employee Central)
Support of HR-Services tasks related to local Learning & Development topics
Support of HR-Services tasks related to the monthly onboarding of new employees incl. monitoring & controlling tasks.
Profile Education
Commercial education with HR related further education (e.g. HR Fachfrau/mann / Specialist) or higher degree in HR Management
Completed Swiss education/training as a vocational trainer KV (Berufsbildner Schweiz)
Experience
Professional experience in a comparable function (e.g. HR Shared Services Specialist, HR Generalist or Junior HR Business Partner in a customer focused, multinational business environment; preferably worked in a Shared Service environment before)
Preferably completed education as vocational trainer KV (commercial training)
Sound knowledge of HR management and Swiss labor law, beneficially in Swiss social security and tax scheme
Proficient user of HR databases/systems (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, SAP Employee Central)
Very good knowledge of MS Office 365
Fluency in English and German, French knowledge is an advantage
