We are seeking a professional to serve in a newly-created role of HR Operations Manager. This generalist HR role encompasses tasks including coordinating recruitment, onboarding, payroll and benefits administration, and ensuring that all HR processes are well-organized and aligned with the company\\\'s overall objectives. Furthermore, the HR Operations Manager will serve as a liaison between employees and management, tackling any workplace concerns while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Reporting directly to the CEO, the HR Operations Manager will work closely with leadership team to develop and implement talent strategies that drive organizational growth and success. In this role, your main tasks would include:
Recruitment and onboarding: Responsible for sourcing and recruiting, as well as onboarding new employees to the firm. This includes managing relationships with external headhunters, screening and interviewing candidates and coordinating a customized onboarding process with the responsible Line Manager
Payroll and benefits administration: Responsible for ensuring appropriate pay and benefit structures, that all employees are paid correctly and on time, and that they are enrolled in the appropriate benefits plans. Working with the third-party payroll providers, benefits brokers and group accounting provider, this will include managing payroll taxes, processing expense reports, and communicating with employees about their benefits
Compensation: Coordinate and maintain the firm\\\'s compensation strategy, supporting the annual compensation review and alignment with ExCo and the Board, including the Management Carry Plan
HRIS and HR systems: Responsible for maintaining and managing the firm\\\'s HRIS and related systems, ensuring that the systems are up-to-date and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations, and that they are used effectively to track employee data and manage HR processes
Employee relations: Responsible for handling employee relations issues, such as performance reviews, disciplinary matters, and separations
Training and development: Responsible for developing performance & development processes and procedures and coordination of the annual progression/promotion review with ExCo and the Board. This includes identifying training needs and implementing training sessions
Compliance: Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations in Switzerland, the UK and the US. This includes reviewing employment contracts and providing guidance to managers on HR-related matters
Staff Handbook: Responsible for developing and maintaining the staff handbook and related documents
Work-life balance: Responsible for developing a culture that promotes a healthy work-life balance for employees. This includes developing policies and programs that support employee wellness, such as flexible work arrangements and wellness programs
Culture and engagement: Responsible for creating and maintaining a positive and engaging workplace culture
Strategic planning: Responsible for advising the CEO and the Executive Committee and assist with developing and implementing HR strategies that support the overall business goals

The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the financial industry. For this position, we are looking for someone who works well in an entrepreneurial organization and someone who possesses strong organizational and communicational skills. Key attributes will include:
At least a Level 5 CIPD Qualification (or equivalent).
At least 5 years HR experience in a financial organization, preferably in private equity or venture capital. International experience would be desirable.
Experienced in the development and management of an HRIS, its associated systems and practices.
Ability to understand budgets, people plans and HR analytics.
Able to write process maps and guides for managers and staff.
Experienced in handling recruitment administration and support.
Able to produce presentations, spreadsheets and handle data manipulation as required.
Experienced in handling sensitive employee relation cases.
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple workstreams across jurisdictions.
This is a stand-alone HR role, and the position holder should be able to define, develop and influence management and staff on the aspects of people management generally.
